1 फरवरी को संसद में बजट पेश करते हुयें, वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने ये घोषणा किया, आने वाली समय में 1 करोड़ गरीब परिवारों को इस योजना से मुफ्त में जोड़ा जायेगा | अभी तक पीएम उज्ज्वला योजना से बड़ी संख्या में महिलाओं को जोड़ा जा चूका हैं |
